How withdrawal would work
If validators align, the steps begin with a pull request that sets VoteBehavior::Obsolete. Validators then upgrade. Later stages would remove the XChainBridge and fixXChainRewardRounding code entirely. No software version or PR deadline has been announced. crypto.news reported that XRPL amendments require more than 80 percent of trusted validators for two weeks; with 35 default validators that means 29 yes votes to clear.
Self-funded discipline in practice
