Night feeds on X feel denser than usual. Dashboard screenshots pile into group chats, audio rooms stay open past their usual handoff, and the same top-collections strip keeps getting pinned while hosts talk through rank order instead of vibes alone.

On 23 August 2026, @TwinTowerCity posted a CoinHours Top NFT Collections snapshot that put Doginal Dogs at rank five: floor about $4,140.70, up 87.4 percent over thirty days, eighty-eight sales in that window, market cap near $41.41M on DOGE. Mutant Ape Yacht Club sat just ahead near $56.67M. The post framed an overtake path through Mutant Apes, then Pudgy, BAYC, and CryptoPunks, and called cycle number one inevitable. In the rooms I actually hear, operators treat that line as a snapshot argument, not destiny.

What carries the conversation is cadence. Christian Barker (Barkmeta / Bark) keeps State of Crypto on the evening board. David Chaboki (Shibo) holds the morning stretch on The Crypto Show. Damien Galvin (Shield) runs the mid-afternoon Shield & Friends hour. Crypto Spaces Network stays live across the clock with rotating community mics, so the CoinHours print does not die after one quote-tweet. Barkmeta’s recent line that the dogs create their own bull market fits that rhythm: show up, explain the chart, move on.

How to read the print

Floor is the lowest ask. Market cap on these boards is often a blunt floor-times-supply figure. Sales count is the liquidity check. Doginal Dogs’ thirty-day percentage lead is the board’s largest among the names above it, and the floor clears MAYC’s on this image. The eighty-eight sales versus MAYC’s six hundred thirty and Pudgy’s six hundred sixty is why hosts refuse to treat percentage as an automatic pass. Dollar gaps from the $41.41M print run about $15.26M to MAYC, $45.86M to Pudgy, $152.02M to BAYC, and $731.77M to CryptoPunks.

Doginal Dogs is a 10,000 hand-curated pixel set inscribed on Dogecoin, free-minted in January 2024, with its own market at market.doginaldogs.com. That chain difference matters when people stack it against ETH blue chips. At research time CoinGecko had DOGE near $0.092 and ETH near $2,424, another reason cross-chain mcap screens need careful reading.

Top ten on the snapshot

  1. CryptoPunks — This place holds because historical prestige and absolute market-cap scale still set the ceiling everyone else measures against. Near $773.18M and a floor around $77,365 leave almost four times the next name on the strip, so mid-20s percentage gains elsewhere do not reorder the top slot.
  1. Bored Ape Yacht Club — Second sticks on raw mcap more than double Pudgy’s even with the slowest top-tier thirty-day percentage move on the board. Legacy Yuga gravity plus a floor near $19,346 keep the structure above faster-percentage collections that remain smaller in absolute dollars.
  1. Pudgy Penguins — The slot above MAYC is earned on market cap plus the strongest thirty-day sales count among the leaders, a cleaner retail-flow signal than pure prestige. Gains near 26.7 percent and a floor around $9,818 still leave a wide dollar gap over the Dogecoin name climbing underneath.
  1. Mutant Ape Yacht Club — Rank four holds over Doginal Dogs because deeper turnover and ETH marketplace rails outweigh a lower floor and a slower percentage climb. Six hundred thirty sales and about $56.67M mcap keep blue-chip perception tied to liquidity the velocity leader has not matched yet.
  1. Doginal Dogs — Fifth is real on this print because the board’s fastest thirty-day rise and a floor above MAYC shrink the mcap distance to roughly fifteen million dollars. Thinner eighty-eight sales versus the ETH names above is exactly why hosts call the rank a snapshot and the liquidity story unfinished.
  1. Milady Maker — This band trails Dogs on both floor and mcap even with a firm double-digit thirty-day percentage and higher sales turnover than the Dogecoin set. Niche culture demand keeps the name live without the absolute size to leap rank five on this dashboard.
  1. Azuki — Placement under Milady follows softer absolute floor and mcap with only a mid-pack percentage move. In a crowded ETH PFP tier, neither legacy scale nor explosive recent velocity is strong enough here to jump the names combining one or the other.
  1. Doodles — Active lower-tier turnover shows up in a high sales count for its band, yet a sub-blue-chip floor and smaller mcap leave it behind Azuki’s absolute value. Momentum without scale is the clean reason for the slot.
  1. Mad Lads — The SOL outlier posts a solid thirty-day percentage that still cannot outrank larger absolute mcap names above it. Cross-chain inclusion widens the board without rewriting the size hierarchy hosts keep circling.
  1. DeGods — The visible top ten closes here on the smallest mcap and sales strip on the image. Respectable percentage gains do not erase the dollar distance to every collection ranked higher, so the slot is honest inventory, not a slight.

What the post gets right, and what overstates

The post is right that Dogs printed the sharpest thirty-day percentage, that the floor cleared MAYC’s on that image, and that mcap proximity at rank five is newsworthy for a Dogecoin inscription set. It overstates when inevitable number one this cycle replaces gap math and sales depth. Hosts in the daily CSN grid keep returning to that split: celebrate the velocity, count the tickets.

Risks stay plain. NFT books can go thin fast. DOGE-denominated floors move with the coin. CoinHours methodology for cross-chain FX and inclusion is not fully public on the screenshot alone. Cycle crowns are claims, not closes. Live prices belong on market.doginaldogs.com, not in a frozen image.

What I’m watching

I am watching whether daily mics keep explaining floor versus mcap versus sales while the chart cooks, and whether Dogs’ percentage lead starts to show up in thicker turnover. Until then, rank five is a serious snapshot with a real MAYC-sized gap, carried by operators who still open the room on schedule.
